The community has come through again for a long-time fundraising walk.
The 15th annual 5K Walk for ALS was held in Belleville at West Zwick’s Park Saturday with 125 participants raising over $25,000.
That surpassed the goal of $20,000 set by local organizers.
$708,000 has been raised over the course of 15 years for ALS research.
The seven original teams that have been walking from the very beginning of the event were honoured yesterday as well.
