The Harmony Homes Minor Peewee AE Jr. Bulls kicked off the season with an exciting first game in Pickering against the Panthers Friday night, ending in a 5-5 tie.
The Jr. Bulls notched three goals in the third period to earn that tie.
Leading the way was Davin Osmond with a goal and two assists and Brody Beaubien with a goal and one assist. Carter Leveque, Nicholas Hibbert, and Braeden Davis notched the other goals.
Pitching in with a pair of helpers was Christian Streek (2), while Jacob Donohue, Keegan Steedman and Thomas Vandervoort added singles.
Aaron McMullen made many key saves in net to keep the score tight.
The Jr Bulls will play their home opener against the Oshawa Minor Generals Sunday night at 7:30 at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
