Quinte West council plans on expressing its thanks to a new and important community group next week.
Council has invited members of the organizing committee and some of the volunteers of the citizens advocacy group OurTMH to a private social event at the Trent Port Marina.

Meanwhile, late last week at the Trent Port Marina, Quinte West council invited all of the new Squadron Commanders along with the 8 Wing Base Commander to join them for a meet and greet.
Mayor Harrison says good relations with military personnel can only benefit the entire community.
