There was plenty of damp fur, but no dampened spirits at the second annual Wiggle Waggle Walk, in support of Quinte Humane Society on Saturday.
Despite the rain, close to 100 pet owners and their furry friends walked laps around West Zwick’s Park, to raise money for the local animal shelter.
QHS Executive Director Frank Rockett tells Quinte News every dollar raised through the event goes back towards shelter operations.
Rockett says a total of what was raised is still being tallied, since online donations are still coming in, but he hopes to have the final number within a couple of weeks.
