The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is adding a new member to its senior leadership team.
The school board announced today that Laina Andrews has signed on as the new Superintendent of School Climate and Student Well-being Services.
Andrews is taking over from Mark Fisher, who is moving to a position with the Durham District School Board.
Andrews has various degrees from Mount Saint Vincent University, Dalhousie University and the University of Toronto, as well as her Principal Qualifications through the Ontario Principal’s Council.
She’ll officially start on October 3rd, after leaving her current role as a secondary school principal with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board.
