Belleville’s fire headquarters Station Number One is now home to a special exhibit on the history of the city’s fire service.
Last night Curator of Glanmore National Historic Site, Rona Rustige, and Carson Cross of the fire department made a presentation to city council on the display called Loyalty Tradition and Progress.
The display stretches from the lobby to the second floor of the fire station on Station Street.
It opens to the public September 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cross says people can view the exhibit then go on to tour parts of the station as well.
