A major building is soon about to open shop at CFB Trenton.
Colonel Colin Keiver, Base Commander of 8-Wing tells Quinte News that Hangar 6, the largest building along Highway 2 will begin operation this fall.
Keiver adds the repairs of most any plane in the world can go on inside, which allows work or storage in a large warm area.
He says the building is about four times more energy efficient as the old buildings.
