Things have improved from last year in the City of Quinte West, at least for most of the businesses
that responded to a recent survey by the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce.
63% of businesses reported being better off this year than last, with 25% seeing a
downturn in revenues.
Respondents also reported that the two biggest challenges facing their businesses were increasing
costs and regulatory red tape.
Almost all of the 57 respondents believed that Quinte West’s infrastructure served them very well.
