One of the oldest agricultural fairs in the country kicks off in Prince Edward County Friday.
The Picton Fair, now in its 181st year, opens at 12:00 p.m with midway events starting at 4:00 p.m.
Tina Hiddink, with The County Agricultural Society says there is something for everyone including tractor pulls Friday night and a dance with live entertainment by the county’s own country sensation Jamie Stever.
Day bracelets are $20 or you can buy them on the midway for $35.
Saturday features mini wrestlers, a bake-off and beef show. The demolition derby goes from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
