It was very warm for the time of year yesterday, but the mercury fell short of hitting a new high temperature
record.
According to readings at CFB Trenton, Environment Canada reports our high yesterday was 28.2 degrees.
The record for a September 6th is 30.4 degrees, set back in 1996.
Meanwhile the record high in this region for a September 7th is 31.7 degrees, set in 2007.
Today’s forecast high is 30 degrees celsius.
