Construction numbers in The County are up over 2015.
The building department says more than $53 million in activity has taken place in 2016, compared to just over $49 million last year.
Meantime in August alone, $8.9 million has been invested in work, compared to $7.9 million last year.
A big push came in February this year, when $12.1 million in construction was put on the books.
