4 Quinte Red Devil graduates have earned their way onto OHL teams this week. 3 of them to the Mississauga Steelheads.
As reported yesterday forward Shaw Boomhower has signed as a free agent after making the jump from Wellington. Scoley Dow, an 8th round pick in 2015 joins Missy from Hill Academy. And the Steelheads’ 4th round pick in 2015, Aiden McFarland will also move up. McFarland spent most of last season with the Junior “C” Napanee Raiders, but also appeared in 11 games for Mississauga.
And another Red Devils graduate, Ryan Smith has been signed by the Niagara Ice Dogs. Smith played for the Trenton Golden Hawks last season. He was a 5th round pick of Niagara in 2015.
