The man accused in a stabbing incident near Bridge and Coleman Streets in Belleville recently is still not free on bail.
Adam Thomas made a brief appearance via video in Belleville Court today, where his lawyers noted they’re still “working on a plan for release” for the 27 year-old, which includes finding him a surety.
That surety is expected to be present for a show-cause hearing, when Thomas appears in court next, on Tuesday September 6.
The 30 year-old victim in the August 26 attack suffered multiple stab wounds and was being treated for serious injuries at Kingston General Hospital, but is in stable condition.
