A Bridgenorth woman is swimming from one end of the Trent Severn Waterway to the other, all in an effort to help the Sick Kids Children’s Hospital in Toronto
Trudy Wilson lost her daughter Taylor a few days after birth.
She says although her daughter died, the group at Sick Kids in Toronto gave her the best chance possible for survival.
Wilson is 240 kilometres into her 386 kilometre swim from Port Severn to Trenton.
Her goal is to raise $25,000 and currently she is just shy of $15,000.
