After finally winning his first Pro Stock division race at Brighton Speedway, Mike Freeman gets more than just the checkered flag. The 52 year old Trenton native has also been named the “Driver of the Week” at Brighton.
Freeman is a sophomore Pro Stock driver but has also raced in the street stock class from the early 1980s until 1986 before reviving his racing career in 2010 when the Stinger division was created.
He has 3 top five finishes this season and sits 7th in the championship standings.
