Assault
Belleville, Ontario – On August 30th, 2016 at 10:58 a.m. police attended at an east residence in relation to an assault. A 15-year-old male was arrested for assaulting his roommate . He was held for a bail hearing on August 31st, 2016. The victim did not require medical attention
Criminal Harassment and uttering threats
Belleville, Ontario – On August 30th, 2016, at 8:30 p.m. police attended at a business on Bell Blvd in relation to a male harassing his ex-girlfriend. A 22-year-old Belleville man was arrested for criminal harassment. He will appear in court on Sept. 12th, 2016
Public intoxication
Belleville, Ontario – On August 31st, 2016, at 12:18 a.m. police attended at the CP tracks on South Front Street in relation to a male sleeping beside the tracks. A 22-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
3 day licence suspension
Belleville, Ontario – On August 31st, 2016, at 1:53 a.m. an officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop on College Street West. A 19-year-old Belleville woman was issued a 3-day licence suspension and her vehicle was towed. She was also charged with being a novice driver and having a blood alcohol level above zero.
Disturbance
Belleville, Ontario – On August 31st, 2016, at 3:47 a.m. police attended at a Dundas Street East location for a male who was causing a disturbance. A 43-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. No one was injured in this incident.
