As we mentioned last week, there will be an important business announcement in Quinte West, and it’s scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday).
Northumberland Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi will be at Kruger Products on Dufferin Avenue in Trenton at 9 o’clock to make an announcement about an expansion at the plant and the creation of a signifcant number of new jobs.
Kruger Products is a manufacturer of brand name paper towels, and bathroom and facial tissue.
And also tomorrow (Wednesday), at 11 in the morning, Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison and others will hold an official sod turning ceremony for what is expected to become a major tourist destination in the area, the Quinte Botanical Gardens in Frankford.
