There could be local content on a UFC card in the not too distant future.
22 year old Jordan Graham, who trains with Tim Keller and Jason Davies at the Loyalist Martial Arts Academy in Belleville, will make his final appearance as an amateur September 3rd in Las Vegas. Graham will fight in a “feeder league” to the UFC called “King of the Cage”. He has fashioned a 38-4 record in Muay Thai and is 6-0 in MMA. After 4 years Graham is ready to turn pro.
Graham says many of UFC’s biggest stars have gone this route.
Jordan Graham credits a gym teacher at Centennial Secondary School, Ryan Gavery, for getting him interested in Mixed Martial Arts. Graham hails from Centre Hastings and now lives in Rossmore.
