It looks like we could get some answers to healthcare questions in Trenton on Thursday.
Minister of Health and Long Term Care Dr. Eric Hoskins is making a visit to Trenton Memorial Hospital, alongside MPP Lou Rinaldi to make “an important announcement about healthcare services in Trenton”.
However there’s been no word if that announcement has to do with a potential move of hundreds of surgical procedures to Belleville, or if it might surround the creation of a “health care hub” on the TMH property.
The last time Hoskins visited Trenton, earlier this year, he put a hold on the move of those surgeries, but there’s been no new information or plan released since.
Hoskins is expected to make his announcement at 11:30 tomorrow, in the Trenton Memorial Hospital Cafeteria.
