It has been confirmed that a body discovered earlier this month in Duoro Dummer Township is that of a Brighton woman.
On August 15th, Peterborough County OPP discovered the body of a woman on a trail near Twelfth Line Road.
The body was taken for an autopsy, however it was dental records which identified 88 year old Theresa Macrae.
She was last seen on August 9th near Presqu’ile Park.
No foul play is suspected in the investigation.
