A well known Prince Edward County resident is being laid to rest Monday.
Former Warden, Reeve and Councillor Laverne Bailey passed away last weekend at the age of 73.
The memorial service is taking place in Picton today at the Prince Edward Community Centre beginning at 11:00, with a celebration of life to follow.
