On Aug 17th, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a threats complaint in the Hamlet of Rossmore.
Officers determined through investigation that a 27 year old male had threatened to harm other persons and threatened to damage property there. Joshua Ryan GANNON was arrested and held in custody pending a show cause hearing.
He was subsequently released on a Recognizance entered into before a Justice of the Peace on August 18th. Very shortly after his release from custody, an investigation determined that he breached his conditions again. He has been charged with two additional counts of Breaching a Recognizance and one count of Breaching a Recognizance of Peace, under the Criminal Code.
The male has been held in custody again pending a show cause hearing at the Provincial Court of Justice in Belleville Ontario on August 19th, 2016.
