The 2016 edition of the Hastings County Farm Show and Plowing Match is almost here.
This is the 28th year for the show and for the first time it heads “north of 7”.
This year’s event, coming up on August 24th and 25th, will be held at the McKinnon Family’s Cornervue Farms near Queensborough, just north of Madoc.
There will be plowing competitions, machinery and antique demonstrations, family and children’s programs, Queen of the Furrow competitions and entertainment.
Eastern Ontario residents will also have the chance to see some of the latest agricultural equipment and technology.
Events begin both days at 9:00 a.m.
