The Municipality of Brighton has lightened up on a total fire ban.
Brighton Fire Chief Lloyd Hutchinson says the total fire ban has been downgraded to a fire advisory.
The change was due to the recent rainfall in the region.
A fire advisory allows campfires, but the fire department must be notified first before the fires are lit.
However, under a fire advisory, burning in barrels or brush burns are still not allowed.
