On August 16th, 2016 The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County Detachment attended an attempt break in at The Source electronics store in the 97 Main Street Picton Plaza.
On August 16th, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., two unknown persons attempted to break into the store by using an implement to smash the door. They were unable to gain entry to the business. Nothing was taken from the store. The amount of damage to the businesses is currently unknown. The OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) was requested to assist in the investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate this and other break-ins in the community and are seeking the assistance of the public. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Prince Edward County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
