Aspiring Pokémon trainers will be flocking to Fraser Park in Trenton Saturday.
That’s where the Quinte West Youth Centre is hosting its first ever “Quinte Catch ‘Em All” event, between Noon and 5:00 p.m.
Youth Centre Events Assistant Sam White tells Quinte News the event will be based out of Fraser Park, but they’re encouraging people to travel all over Quinte West looking for the digital monsters.
White adds that there’s even a “poke derby” happening, for more experienced trainers as well.
The day also features kids’ activities and games, a bar-b-q, Pokémon souvenirs and more.
Organizers have set a rain date for Sunday, in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.
