A grass fire grew to about 50 acres in size Thursday afternoon southwest of Napanee.
Crews were called around 4:00 p.m. to Fitchett Road, east of Hay Bay, where smoke and flames were visible in a heavily wooded area.
Napanee, Deseronto, Tyendinaga, Bath, Stone Mills and Odessa fire crews responded.
Napanee Fire Chief Kevin Donaldson tells the Kingston Region that it is now under control.
