Four people in their 20s have been arrested, after Belleville Police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Charlotte Street yesterday.
Investigators got the warrant and began looking into the unsafe use of a firearm, following an incident on Tuesday night, when a shotgun was fired.
During the search, police seized cocaine, marijuana, a handgun, a shotgun, brass knuckles, digital scales, cell phones, cash and other offense related property.
24 year-old Tyler Lyons and 26 year-old Christopher Lewis, both of Belleville, are charged with trafficking cocaine and multiple gun-related charges.
Both men were held for show cause hearings today.
Meanwhile, 25 year-old Marra Fox and 20 year-old Eileen Rowland, also both of Belleville, are charged with trafficking cocaine.
They were both released on promises to appear in September.
