A new temperature record was set in the Quinte Region Wednesday and it could be even hotter today.
Environment Canada says we reached 31.6 degrees, topping the 31.1 degree record set in 1944.
Thursday could go down as the hottest day of the year, in the hottest summer in years.
Today’s expected high is 33 celsius.
That could break a 72 year old temperature record.
