With the intense heat that has been in the Quinte Region all summer long and a current heat warning in effect, Prince Edward County is offering some much needed relief for area citizens.
Cooling stations have been set up at the Prince Edward Community Centre, at 375 Main Street in Picton, and at the Wellington District Community Centre/Essroc Arena at 111 Belleville Street in Wellington.
The cooling stations will be available during normal operating hours until Friday.
