Construction issues have delayed the opening of Campbell Street in downtown Belleville to traffic by a couple of weeks.
Len Corcoran Excavating, the contractor doing the downtown upgrades had planned to have Campbell open this week, but the date has been pushed back to the week of August 15.
After Campbell is open, surface work will begin on Front Street, from Victoria to Bridge Street.
It’s hoped the project will be completed sometime in September.
