Threats
Belleville, Ontario – On the 4th of August 2016 at 5:00 p.m. police arrested and charged a 31 year old Belleville man with 2 counts of uttering threats. The male has been held for a bail hearing later today. The accused was already scheduled to appear in court today on other unrelated charges.
Pursuit
Belleville, Ontario – On the 4th of August 2016 at 7:45 p.m. police were involved in a pursuit with a 47 year old Belleville man known to police to be a disqualified driver. The pursuit along Hwy 401 was discontinued in Quinte West. At 8:30 p.m. the male was arrested without incident in his vehicle by Northumberland OPP. The accused was turned over to BPS and will appear in Bail Court later today – facing numerous charges – which include Dangerous Driving, Drive Disqualified and Flight from police.
