It’s good news for Quinte Health Care and two Northumberland County hospitals.
Northumberland-Quinte West MPP Lou Rinaldi has announced that they will receive a total of $1.6 million this year through the provincial government’s Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.
It means Quinte Health Care will receive $1.3 million.
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Brad Harrington says “the funding will go directly to priority infrastructure investments.”
Campbellford Memorial Hospital will receive $182,348.
President and CEO of Campbellford Memorial, Brad Hilker, says “this funding will be used to do much needed repairs and maintenance to our incoming power supply to the hospital, our hot water system, our air conditioning system and repair retaining walls.”
Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg will receive $129,211.
President and CEO of Northumberland Hills Hospital says “this additional funding will be very useful to support the work currently needed to keep our facility in good condition.”
