You’d think people would realize by now that it’s bone dry out there and has been for weeks, but some people are still insisting on tempting fate by setting bonfires and lawn waste fires.
This burning has led to grass fires and considerable danger to people and property and also to a lot of increased cost to the taxpayer.
All of our local communities have burn bans in place, and that means no fires, no outside burning whatsoever, and in some cases, no fireworks.
