Emergency Services paramedics and Prince Edward County firefighters were both called out to
the Sandbanks park after reports of a possible drowning.
9-1-1 calls from the Dunes beach, off County Road 12 near Richardson’s Campground, came in around 6 o’clock last evening.
Initial reports indicated a possible drowning.
However, after arriving, emergency responders discovered that beachgoers had misread what they were seeing in the water, and that everything was ok.
