Disturbances
Belleville, Ontario – On July 29th, 2016, at 6:04 p.m. officers attended in a parking lot on Dundas Street East regarding an aggressive male. The 50-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
On July 29th, 2016, at 11:20 p.m. an officer on patrol observed two men stumbling on Front Street near Market Street. Both were arrested for their own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. The two Belleville men, 38 and 40 years of age, were issued Provincial Offence Notices.
On July 30th, 2016, at 2:00 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance on North Front Street. A 27-year-old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
On July 30th, 2016, at 2:05 a.m. officers responded to another disturbance on North Front Street. A 21-year old Belleville man was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged with being intoxicated in a public place.
On July 30th, 2016, at 2:40 a.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Bridge Street West. A 60-year-old Belleville man was arrested for breach of the peace. Alcohol was a factor in this incident.
On July 30th, 2016, at 4:05 a.m. an officer observed two males on Sidney Street moving all of the traffic cones that were set up in a construction zone. This created a hazardous situation. One of the males agreed to restore the cones to their original positions. The second male, a 21-year-old Belleville man, refused to participate and was arrested for his own protection under the Liquor Licence Act. He was charged under the Liquor Licence Act.
