A Vancouver based “green” construction company will build a new seniors building
in the heart of the village of Marmora starting this fall.
FairTradeWorks will build a 3 storey building on Forsyth Street that will contain 10 modern
condominium units for seniors with commercial space on the ground floor.
The project will cost around $2 million.
It will be called “The Bleeckers”.
Meanwhile, FairTradeWorks is also proposing to build a motel/restaurant/gas bar operation along
highway 7, at Booster Park Road and has plans for a big resort on Crowe Lake on Cook Road in
the future.
