Search and rescue personnel from CFB Trenton’s 424 Squadron are busy these days.
Tuesday, a Hercules aircraft and a Griffon chopper helped the U.S. Coast Guard search for a missing Canadian fisherman on Lake Erie.
That search continues, but the coast guard is handling it on its own.
Meanwhile, at around 10:00 p.m., two boats collided on the St. Lawrence River in Montreal.
One person is missing in the water.
A 424 Squadron Hercules searched overnight and a Griffon helicopter and crew will search the river today.
