Belleville City Officials say everyone in the downtown core should have gas connected again by the end of the day.
Hydro services were already restored and a media release this afternoon says workers from Union Gas are finishing up some re-connections and are just waiting to get into a few remaining businesses.
If you’ve been out of the downtown area and are just returning to your home or business now, you should find some information from Union Gas at your address, which will give you instructions if you still need a reconnection.
