It was a record breaking scorcher yesterday in the Quinte Region.
The temperature climbed up to 33.4 degrees, which beat the previous high mark of 32.8, set 52 years ago in 1964.
Today’s high temperature is expected to be 26. The record for a July 24 is 32.9 degrees, set back in 1987.
