After a long foot chase, it appears the Belleville Police finally got their man.
Just after 1:00 a.m. Friday, officers noticed a man who was wanted on outstanding charges, including serious assault accusations.
The suspect fled, leading officers on an hour chase through the east end.
The K-9 unit was called in, who tracked the suspect to a back yard, where he was discovered hiding under a trailer.
The 30 year old was arrested, however no new charges have been laid.
His name is being withheld to protect the victim in the assault charges.
