The low Canadian dollar is good news, and some bad news, for development in the Bay of Quinte area.
The Canadian dollar has been wavering in the area of 77 cents to the United States dollar for a number of weeks.
Quinte Economic Development Commission executive director Chris King says, for manufacturers exporting it makes them more competitive but if importing it makes everything more expensive.
