The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County Detachment is currently investigating a series of break and enters that occurred along Main Street in the Town of Wellington.
On Monday July 18th, 2016 at approximately 2:00 a.m., police received a call reporting a break and enter to a business in the area. Police attended and discovered that other businesses had been broken into. The total value of the thefts is currently unknown. The amount of damage to the businesses is currently unknown. The OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) have been requested to assist in the investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the assistance of the public.
