Belleville’s annual Downtown DocFest has received a $2500 boost from the city’s new Community Arts and Culture Fund. The International Documentary Film Festival held in early March at various downtown venues has been popular over its five years. DocFest Chair Holly Dewar says the grant will allow DocFest to grow.
Dewar says the grant from the Community Arts and Culture Fund is an endorsement of DocFest.
