A complicated and therefore long trial is coming to a local courtroom early next year in an effort to settle multi-million dollar differences between the City of Belleville and various construction contractors.
The lawsuits involve the building of the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
An Intelligencer report says civil court documents indicate a February trial is coming and is expected to last 6 to 8 weeks.
Construction firm Atlas Corp. sued the city and the city returned the favour.
Several smaller construction companies are also involved.
