Calling all golfers to come out and hit the links to help raise $100,000 for a great cause.
The 14th annual Rotary Loves Kids Golf Tournament is tomorrow at Black Bear Ridge and Trillium Wood Golf courses in Belleville. The event, which is the Rotary Club’s largest, has brought in $1.1 million over the past 13 years.
Event organizer Sam Brady says all funds raised support projects in the Quinte area. Ten percent of the proceeds go to fund bursaries for kids in the care of the Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society.
Event Organizer Sam Brady says there are amazing prizes to be won including a car from Peter Smith Chev Cadillac. Then everyone is invited to Party in Square in downtown Belleville at 7:30 p.m.
There will be food, drinks and pizza on site along with a live band featuring Dizzy Minot and The Arsenals.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
