The tenders have been called for upgrading the streets in Belleville’s Northeast Industrial Park.
Deputy Director of Engineering Ray Ford says the work will be to provide asphalt surface to Adam Street, University Avenue, Jameson Bone Road, and College Street East, similar to the surface that was recently completed on Old Highway 2 in Belleville’s east end.
The work is expected to begin late in the summer and be completed this fall.
It includes improvements to culverts and ditches in the area.
Ford says phase two is set for 2017.
