A major milestone in the Bay Bridge Road and CP Rail Overpass project in Belleville.
Director of Engineering and Development Rod Bovay said 12 major beams which make up the bridge’s main structure and its supports were installed on Tuesday over the railway tracks stretching from north to south.
Bovay added motorists can soon expect major improvements in the Dundas Street portion of the project too.
The combined $20 million reconstruction project is slated to be finished by the end of 2016.
