A pair of Trenton men are facing charges after copper wire was stolen from a Hydro One transfer station in Quinte West earlier this week.
Hydro One security staff told OPP the cable went missing on July 6th, when suspects came back to the compound to retrieve it, after moving it around the night before.
The investigation led to 37 year-old Shaun Broughton and and 40 year-old Jason Robertson, who are both charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime and failing to comply with a court order.
Both men were released with court dates in mid-August.
