There’s a new head of operations at Canada’s largest air force base.
This morning at CFB Trenton, Lieutenant Colonel Steve Camps took over from Lt. Colonel Andrew Cleveland and will now be the base’s new Wing Operations Officer.
Outgoing WOO Cleveland had held the role for the past two years.
Lieutenant Colonel Camps has said he understands the operational tempo that is kept up at 8 Wing and he’s looking forward to the challenge of continuing that.
The 8 Wing Operations branch is responsible for supporting all of 8 Wing’s flying and non-flying squadrons, in support of their air-mobility mandate world wide.
